DS ROM pass-through device shamelessly on offer online
For the price of a GBA SP, you can now be the proud owner of a Super CARD & Super PASS bundle designed to play Nintendo DS ROMs from an SD card in your DS. Sound too good to be true? Well, it is, in a way… the add-on in question is certifiably the work of pirates most definitely a boon to people who want to pirate games for the DS. Sure they sell some legitimate games, too, but what's with the the 10 pages of "Full demo version - not for commercial use" NDS and GBA ROMs arranged for each system? Uh, yeah.
Ah, video-game piracy... the hidden underbelly of the interactive entertainment industry. Okay, maybe it's not so hidden these days—what with the impact it's had on high-def disc standards, hardwarelaunches, big gamereleases, and firmwarepatches lately—but at least major pirates don't usually send out press releases touting their copyright-flouting ways. (Apparently NDSBuyer has.) Or put the mercenary likeness of Boba Fett onto each bundled item they sell. (Which they've done.) More instructions on how to operate the device can even be found from another source here. So, how many days do you wanna bet it'll be until Nintendo sends the big cease-and-desist? We'll be counting.
